Licensed Practical Nurse 1500 Bonus

Augustana Regent at Burnsville is seeking a part time Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN, to work part time days (.5) at our extraordinary senior living community that caters to the health needs of people 55 and over.  We are seeking someone to join our clinical team to serve our residents’ health care needs with care and compassion.  This position will pay a $1500 retention bonus! 

The Augustana Regent has 147 apartments located by the Burnsville Mall. We have a state of the art building that houses both independent apartment and assisted living residents, including specialized units for memory care and care suite needs.

LPN Job Duties:

  • Set up medications
  • Process orders, chart residents' health status
  • Assist residents/families/staff with questions
  • Complete client monitoring visits
  • Administer some direct hands-on care, including passing medications
  • Provide guidance to Nursing Assistant staff, and more!

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Understanding of the Nurse Practice Act
  • Sound clinical judgment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Eldermark software is preferred
  • Computer skills including Word and Outlook
  • Work with other clinical staff in coordinating services and resources
  • Sound decision making, communication, customer relations and quality reassurance skills
