Director of Sales and Marketing

The Rosemount Senior Living, located in Rosemount, MN and managed by Augustana Care, is seeking a full time Director of Sales and Marketing.  The ideal candidate will have experience working in senior living and use innovative methods to create and implement processes that are used to build community relations and attract new residents to our senior living community. 

Job Duties:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing initiatives for products and services offered on site. 
  • Implement Augustana Care’s sales and marketing systems across the entity, ensuring consistent implementation. 
  • Conduct sales coaching with key staff to ensure the Augustana Care’s sales methodology (RAIN) is being properly executed.
  • Increase revenue via, health care services, premium payer mix and occupancy growth.
  • Coordination, creation and execution of sales and marketing plans (annual and quarterly).
  • Working collaboratively with the site and regional staff on occupancy barriers and opportunities.
  • Participation in monthly account reviews with the housing director, regional director of sales and marketing, and regional director of housing  to review performance against established goals, and to set new goals to increase market share from established accounts.
  • Enhance church relations program focused on serving member congregations (seniors and adult children).  Monitor and evaluate church relations strategies and programs, and how engagement with congregations can be leveraged to increase market share.



  • Minimum of 1-2 years of professional sales and marketing experience and/or new property experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field required.
  • Ability to keep abreast of current marketing trends relating to senior living, continuing care and health care reform are essential.
  • Initiative, sound judgment, public speaking and leadership skills are also required.  
  • A strong background in leadership roles in church and community is desirable.  
  • This position requires a high degree of interpersonal relationship skills and entrepreneurial creativity.
