Nursing Assistant Trainee

Augustana Care Hastings Health and Rehabilitation, an Independent/Assisted Living/Long-term care Campus, will train,certify, and hire those who meet the caregiver criteria needed to be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). High school students welcomed!  Must be at least 16 years old.

Job Responsibilities: Every day our CNA's help our residents and clients:

  • Fulfill their Activities of Daily Living
  • Feel a part of our Augustana Family
  • Communicate with families and loved ones
  • Provide excellent quality of life

Qualifications:  Must be at least 16 years of age or older.  Must have an interest in caregiving and a passion for helping others.

If interested, please apply online or stop in to our campus and complete an application.  Those candidates selected for our program will be notified and receive a full scholarship to the Certified Nursing Assistant Course.  Information on when classes begin, schedule, location, etc. will be provided once candidates are selected.  Participants will be hired into CNA positions upon successful course completion and certification.
