CNA Minnetonka- Part Time

Emerald Crest by Augustana Care specializes in Memory Care of the geriatric population.

As a Emerald Crest employee you will learn and gain valuable knowledge about Alzheimer's disease and dementia.
Applicants must have a passion for geriatric care. Strong interpersonal and social skills are vital. Good customer service instincts will be important in interacting with family members and visitors.

Emerald Crest  is currently seeking  Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA or HHA) to work at our Minnetonka Campus for the following :

Shifts available: Part time-Days, Evenings and nights

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assists residents with activities of daily living.
  • Assists with mobility and transportation care.
  • Conducts programming and activities
  • Answers call lights promptly.
  • Promotes and maintains highest level of independence or resident using nursing rehab skills.
  • Maintains accurate and complete records of food/fluid intake/output, baths, weights, bowel and bladder elimination, ambulation, ROM, and cleaning duties as assigned.
  • Displays an attitude of courtesy and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
  • Functions as a team member with other staff in the performance of duties.

Qualifications:

  • Must have good communication skills
  • High school graduate or GED equivelant
