Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN - FT or PT

We are seeking to hire several Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to work at our Castle Peak campus in both FT & PT roles on all shifts (day, evening and over nights). 

The LPN is responsible for providing compassionate care to our residents, support the mission vision and goals of Castle Peak, and be leaders among the nursing team. 


  • Completes daily assignments as assigned (per resident/facility schedule).
  • Verifies completion of all required documentation at end of shift.
  • Participates in training department staff and attends staff meetings.
  • Communicates resident care needs to all shifts
  • Provides daily report to the nursing assistant .
  • Manages medications, supplies and equipment including ordering, receiving,storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
  • Administers and records medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician’s orders, and monitors for effectiveness/response.
  • Assists the IDT in development and implementation of care plan for residents and monitors staff providing care.
  • Notifies supervisor, attending physician, and family members of significant changes in a resident’s condition and records action to be taken.
  • Monitors nursing assistants on assigned shift and ensures care is provided per care plan.
  • Displays an attitude of teamwork, courtesy and respect for all residents, families and staff.
  • Respects confidentiality of resident information and exhibits sound, mature judgement.


  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado
  • Practices nursing in accordance with the CO Nurse Practice Act
